Biography:
Jennifer G. Friestad has been a Professor at Anoka-Ramsey
Community College for twelve years and a Community
Faculty member at Metro State for four years. She
teaches in the Marketing and Management Department.
During the past five years, she has taught online
courses for both colleges. She is an active member
of the following associations: Marketing Education
Association, Professional Sales Association, and
Minnesota Community College Faculty Association.
She has had a number of business presentations,
including: “Incorporating Business Ethics
into Marketing Classes” at National American
Vocational Association Conference, “Business
Ethics” at Minnesota Business Education Incorporated
Conference, “Importance of Business Ethics”
at National Marketing Education Association Conference.
Jennifer Friestad published The Suggestion Box,
Ideas for Personal Management, and served as a consultant
on various projects for local companies. She was
selected as “Outstanding Faculty Member”
by Presidential Scholar students.
She owned and operated several small businesses
(gift shop and women's clothing/jewelry business).
She is a world traveler, and you don't need to ask
her twice to pack her bags. She also enjoys golfing...fore!
Her family is important to her and she spends lots
of time with them.
