Short
Biography:
A native of Wisconsin, Milton Luoma is a long-term
resident of Minnesota. He is currently a full-time
member of the Computer Science faculty at Normandale
Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota, and
he is also a member of the Community Faculty at
Metropolitan State University with teaching assignments
in both the Management Information Systems Department
and the Information and Computer Science Department.
In addition, he is an online adjunct faculty member
in both Walden University’s graduate program
in Information Systems Management and Brenau University’s
School of Business and Mass Communication based
in Gainesville, Georgia. He has developed and taught
online courses using WebCT and Blackboard software.
He holds graduate degrees in computer science, business,
engineering, and law. Milton Luoma spent five years
teaching full time in the University of Wisconsin
system at both the Superior and Madison campuses,
and he has substantial industry experience in MIS.
In addition to his interest in online education,
his professional interests include applications
of artificial intelligence to the legal domain and
decision making.
