DSCI 434 Introduction to Operations Management

Short Biography:

After working for nine years in the insurance industry, Susan A. Misterek returned to academia and finished her Ph.D. in Operations Management. She was an Assistant Professor in the College of Business at Arizona State University from 1995-2001. Since that time, she has taught and is teaching for University of Minnesota (Carlson School of Management and the College of Continuing Education and Extension), Metropolitan State University, University of St. Thomas, and Capella University. She is an active member of Decision Sciences Institute and American Society for Quality. Her professional interests lie in the areas of operations management, supply chain management, and management of technology and innovation.
