Congratulations! You are on your way to building a foundation for success in the online environment. Here are the next steps that you will take to prepare for your first semester:

1. Activate your NetDirect Account
   Note: When you have activated your NetDirect Account, email business.online@metrostate.edu with the following information:
   • Type “Activated NetDirect” in the subject line
   • Include your User Name and tech ID (i.e. student ID)
   • Sign your email with your first and last name
   
   
2. Complete your Academic Skills Assessments
   
   
3. Visit the Online Advising Center
   
   
4. Complete the Business Online Orientation Quiz
   Note: Notification when you can access the Business Online Orientation Quiz will be sent within a week to your Metropolitan State email (e.g. jonejo@go.metrostate.edu).
   
   
5. Submit Your Major Declaration
   
   
6. Register and pay for your courses
   
   
7. Purchase your textbooks.
   
   
8. Contact your Advisor if you need assistance
