Business Online Orientation Quiz


Congratulations on completing the Business Online Orientation. Before you can register for courses, you need to successfully complete the Business Online Orientation Quiz.

Only students already admitted to Business Online can complete the Business Online Orientation Quiz. To begin the application process, visit Prospective Students. If you have already applied, you may contact business.online@metrostate.edu to check on the status of your application.

If you have been accepted to Business Online and are ready to complete the Business Online Orientation Quiz, make sure you have your Student ID so you can activate your NetDirect account below.

You will access your course or orientation web site by logging into NetDirect. Before you can do this, you must have activated your NetDirect account. Generally, you will have to wait up to 24 hours after activating NetDirect before you can log into NetDirect and access your course web site.

If your NetDirect account is already activated, here are the steps for accessing your course or orientation web site:

  1. Go to NetDirect login page and enter your NetDirect username and password. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, follow the appropriate link on the NetDirect login page.

  2. Once you are logged in, you will see the NetDirect Home. (While there, read the announcements and check your university email account!)

  3. Click on the icon called D2L Login online course access on lower left panel.

  4. Click on the newly exposed link called Launch Desire 2 Learn.

  5. You will be taken directly to your My Home page. This is where all of the web sites in which you are enrolled will appear:

    • If you see only the semester or workshop/orientation heading, click on the + signs until you see the name of your course)s) or orientation. Click on the course name and you will be taken directly to the home page for that course.
    • If you see a message that says you are not enrolled in any courses, contact online.learning@metrostate.edu. Indicate that your My Home page says you are not enrolled in any courses. Provide:
      1. Your NetDirect username,
      2. Your student id,
      3. The course(s) (name, number, and section number) or orientation for which you are registered.
      4. Your contact information.
  6. On your course or orientation home page, be sure to read any announcements from your instructor. For information about your course, click on the Content link that you see below the Metropolitan State logo.
