Register for Fall Metropolitan State courses!

A big change in timing of registration for fall courses is underway. After years of registering in July and August for fall semester courses, Metropolitan State students will register in April and May.

Earlier registration will put Metropolitan State in step with other colleges and universities, most of which rely on spring registration for fall courses. More importantly, April and May registration for fall semester courses will enable the university to respond better to student needs and develop a fiscal year budget that more accurately reflects student enrollment.

Registering in April or May for your fall courses will enable you to plan ahead. Students on financial aid will find that the changed registration schedule enables more timely availability of grant and loan funds. Payment for fall courses will be due sometime in the summer, which will greatly diminish problems associated with cancellation of registration due to non-payment of tuition.
